Vicious familiarity

“Don’t take another step, Jason.” The low warning didn’t even make him pause as his boots crunched over the filth. Even the whirr of the laser rifle cocking hardly made him pause, “I mean it Jason!”

He sighed and lastly stopped, “How long are we intend to do this, Austin?” that guy asked, not turning around to view his attacker.

“Drop it and turn around, slow like, with your hands up.”

He looked down at the flowers he’d brought, and up at the crude, much-battered stone in front of him, the only one, in this forgotten stretch of bland desert. “Austin, really, u going to discharge a man in mourning?”

They stood in stalemate for some time until this guy heard the hiss of the weapon being locked and a growl of frustration. “Jason, you drive me to drink.”

“Better than some other past times.” that guy said coolly, letting his trench coat fall back over his slug-throwers. that guy looked sideways as the other stepped up next to him, the moon serving as their single, lonely observer, casting the foul around ’em in blue repose and reflecting off the atomic glass that overspread the distant hills.

They were silent there, for some time, “Every year you come here.”

“Every year you come here.”

Austin shot him a sideways look.

“And each year you have the pretense of taking me in and u never do.” Jason continued moving to the marker and set the flowers down, brushing away the dust as this chab sat down with a sigh as Austiner moved up to stand in front of him, blocking the moonlight. that guy looked up as blue eyes stared down.

“Goddamnit Jason, u make me come undone.” Austin cursed and Jason could not assist the smirk that moved over his face.

“When did it become like this, do u suppose?” this chab asked.

Austin looked sideways, “I don’t know. … years ago.”

“Well yeah,… ten years?… we’ve been going like this… this cat and mouse, Austin, when do u suppose you’re gonna tire?”

“Jason…” A pained look crossed the other’s face and he pulled the hat off his head, and finally gave up, this guy sagged as Jason rolled onto his knees and his hands ran up the thighs of the other’s panties. There was so much unspoken betwixt them, but…

“I know Austin…” he breathed, nuzzling the ties that held them in place. His nose lifted the shirt and this chab discovered the other’s abdomen, placing a kiss on his navel in advance of one hand reached up and undid the other’s pants.

“You’re such bad Jasonany…” Austin said, his breath hardly a whisper betwixt his soft panting.

“Hm.” he could not help the wry smirk, “You know me. discharge first, run like hell.” this guy pulled the other’s panties down a little and Austin’s cock sprung free, “How lengthy have you been holding that down?” he asked as the other’s eagerness was made apparent.

Austin would not look him in the eye, but his hands tangled in his hair and pulled him closer. in a short time enough Jason had a mouthful of the other and this chab took it with eagerness, swallowing him to the root as Austin groaned loudly, his hand tightening in Jason’s hair. this chab felt the other’s thighs buck into his throat as that guy pulled back, his hand rising and jerking off what of the shaft his mouth did not have.

His tongue darted out and this chab looked up at Austin, lost to his touch, his eyes were closed and his hat fell to the ground unheeded. His head was back and his face hole slightly opened as Jason nibbled slightly, just to watch Austin’s breath hitch. this chab hummed softly around the other as this chab sunk back down onto him, and Austin bucked with a gasp and Jason tasted bitter seed across his tongue.

He pulled away licking his lips, grinning a touch, “Am I that good?” that guy asked, “Or has it been that long?”

Austin braced his hands on Jason’s shoulders, his knees trembling, “N… Not since… final time….” he breathed as Jason raised his hands and embraced his wrists.

“So long, Austiner, goodness, I would have thought someone would have had their way with you…” he whispered.

Austin did not answer as this chab let his knees buckle and they were face to face, and Jason stared at the other with a little smirk, until Austin turned away.

Jason sighed quietly, “You’re still that kid I met twelve years ago, tagging along with that sheriff. Wide-eyed little deputy I spoiled.”

Austin half-heartedly punched his shoulder, “Why’s it always got to be this way with us Jason?” he asked, leaning forward on him, his arms wrapping around Jason’s neck.

“Cause I ain’t a valuable stud. Cause… I already chose my path. And you yours.” this chab said, his jaw setting, as that guy looked at the other, “Cause i’m a bad, bad man.”

“Not a bad man.” Austiner protested quietly, “A admirable dude with bad habits. Come home with me.” It was a lost cause though.

Jason sighed, this chab seemed to be doing that a lot today, “Maybe 30 years ago, previous to this hell, in advance of our paths, in one more life, maybe. you know it, an’ I know it.” this guy stared at Austiners face for a bit, as always with him, this guy felt tired, and old. “Sometimes… I wish otherwise.”

“You were a valuable man, you used to…”

“Now i’m a deserter, and I won’ go back. Not now, not ever. u know better, I was born with a gun in hand, and you know better than to ask of me to let it go.” this chab leaned forward with a harsh kiss, biting his lip hard enough to draw blood.

Austin moaned again, lost in Jason’s touch hunger again, as the outlaw pulled his panties from him and tossed them aside, descending upon him hungrily.

Jason curled around Austiner protectively, as the moon set, slowly, behind glass overspread hills and the sky became its darkest. His fingers played over the other’s abdomen, painted with their cumulative efforts as that guy teased him playfully.

“Jason.”

“Mmm?”

“… Nothing.” Austin told after a bit and settled back into the other’s embrace.

Jason did not shove it, just remained entangled with the other, wishing the night to last forever, until the iron whinny of his steed made his head raise to the steel and flesh creature he rode. It trotted to him, an alert, somebody was here.

“Jason,” Austin raised his head and sat up, scrambling for his panties to yank ’em on, as Jason did the same, straightening himself out as a group of riders could be heard in the distance as the night began to lighten.

“I need to go.” he said, turning to Austin, “I…”

“I know, me too.” that guy murmured, leaning up and giving a kiss him as the sun broke horizon.

Jason seized his ride’s reigns and mounted up as Austin ran for his own ride.

A group of bounty hunters crested the rise and Jason chuckled lowly, he’d watch Austiner again, soon enough as he dug his heels into the horses’ sides and they were off like a shot into the desert, kicking filth over the empty marker.

The stone was blank, and the grave underneath empty, it had always been so, for as long as Jason had come. And for all that Austin had followed, Jason not at any time found it in him to tell his lover.
